Reverend Scott Gould

St. Helen's warmly welcomed Reverend Scott Gould on May 1 as its new rector.  A  graduate both of the UBC School of Music and The Vancouver School of Music, Scott has had a lifelong passion for choral music in Anglican worship. He loves to sing and play the guitar. He is a student (ongoing) of Rene Girard’s “gospel anthropology” and is especially interested in how Girard’s unique insights apply in spiritual practice and leadership. In January of 2010, Scott celebrated the tenth anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. He and his wife of 14 years, Suzanne, have three children with whom they enjoy lots of fun and leisure activities: skiing, sailing, kayaking, camping, cycling, movies, reading, ballet, piano, singing, soccer, and baseball (for starters). The Goulds love Point Grey and have had many connections in the neighbourhood over many years.
